Parish Council News
Pentecost is often called the birthday of the Church—a moment when the Holy Spirit moved powerfully among the disciples, giving them courage, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose. It was not a quiet or predictable beginning, but one filled with energy, change, and bold steps forward.
As wardens, we see echoes of that same Spirit at work in our life together at St. Anne’s.
This season has brought both opportunities and challenges. We continue to navigate shared spaces, evolving needs, and the day-to-day realities of caring for this place and one another. At times, it requires patience. At times, discernment. And often, a willingness to have honest conversations while staying grounded in grace.
Pentecost reminds us that the Church was never meant to be static or easy. It was meant to be alive—guided by the Spirit, shaped by community, and rooted in faith.
We are grateful for the many ways this parish shows up: in quiet acts of service, in thoughtful leadership, in flexibility when things don’t go as planned, and in a shared commitment to the well-being of St. Anne’s. These are not small things—they are signs of the Spirit at work among us.
As we move forward, may we continue to seek wisdom, extend patience, and remain open to where God is leading us next. The same Spirit that stirred the early Church is still present here—guiding, strengthening, and renewing us.
With gratitude,
The Wardens - Cathy and Jess
